Hands on Learning: Giving & Service

A servant’s heart is very important to Christian Heritage Academy. This fund helps each classroom work together to complete philanthropy projects, integrating educational skills and service from the heart. The Lower School, Grades K-4, hold lunchroom bake sales and give their proceeds to Samaritan’s Purse, collect coins for the Gillette Children’s Hospital, create placemats for Christmas dinner at the Salvation Army and sing Christmas carols for the elderly. Middle School, Grades 5-8, students and teachers work together in the community to form a broader view of the needs of people and to reflect on how God wants us to be His hands and feet in the world today. Monthly service projects bring middle school students into the community to serve as helping hands. Benefits to students include increased responsibility and citizenship. Some of the programs served are the Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission, The Simpson House, Operations Christmas Child and Adopt-A-Highway. 8th Grade Mission Trip - Every year our 8th graders spend one week serving the poor in a Spanish speaking country. They will go BEYOND • Themselves • Their Community • Their Country • Their Comfort Level and experience God’s compassion for the poor and His love for all people.

Tuition Scholarship Fund

Many families are in the difficult position of weighing the potential life-changing value of providing a Christian education for their child, with the affordability of tuition within their budget.

Educational Support Center

The Educational Support Center strives to support parents and students who may not qualify for an Individual Learning Plan (IEP) through the public school, as well as students who currently have an Individual Learning Plan through the district. We have great support through our local school district. This fund helps us to provide the curriculum, encouragement and reinforcement to students who need to build a stronger self-esteem. Students receive an individualized plan that includes: • Classroom accommodations • Areas of strength and growth • Specific learning goals • Licensed, professional tutors • Frequent and consistent team communication

Loaves and Fishes Annual Fund

You may desire to bless Christian Heritage Academy with a donation to our Loaves and Fishes Fund. Your donations are critical to the mission of CHA. Without you, we could not provide our students with academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment. While tuition covers ninety percent of a student’s education and serves to maintain the basic program, the Loaves and Fishes Annual Fund resources go each year to enhancements such as technology upgrades, staff development, facility upgrades, etc. If you choose this option, we will faithfully apply your donation to the area of greatest need.
